1. FACTest allergy test. Often if your guts are bad you may have difficulty in digesting certain foods, particularly gluten, wheat and milk products. This IgE allergy test covers all grains and dairy food, yeasts, eggs, soya, goats and milk produce as well as tTGA - a marker for untreated coeliac disease, and is a useful diagnostic tool to get quick results rather than spending months writing a food diary.
2. Comprehensive stool analysis. This is a stool test done over three days which analyses the levels of good and bad bacteria in your gut (which can cause symptoms of IBS), as well as yeasts, candida, and parasites which are often undiagnosed in 20% of stool tests. All these problems cause symptoms of IBS and can be easily sorted out.
